This is the track that started the Fluorite project. It all began in the Fairhaven Audio program at WWU as an Independent Study Project created by Ruben Gomez, which focused on using the recording studio as a compositional tool, rather than just capturing something that's already been perfect outside of the studio. After almost two years of editing, tweaking, and hiatus from this particular track, Ruben finally completed Conversation Hearts during the quarantine. Fluorite has gone on to blossom into a new and exciting project, with more than 30 collaborators and counting from all over the pacific northwest.
